Shipping Policy

You want your furniture fast? At PeakOffice our goal is to get your new furniture to you as soon as possible. Depending upon the item(s) purchased, PeakOffice will ship your purchase in the most efficient and fastest way. Methods for shipping include UPS, FedEx, DHL or by a freight carrier.

What is Tailgate delivery? Many of the heavier and larger items that we sell are unable to be delivered by UPS or FedEx. We send them via a freight carrier using a large semi-truck as a “tailgate delivery”. If you have a loading dock, your driver is required to move your furniture to the end of the trailer, and you are responsible for moving the items off of the back of the truck and into your building. If the delivery is to a home or an office without a loading dock, they will still move the furniture to the end of the trailer where you will need to unload from there. It is normally best to have a partner to help with this since some items may be in excess of 125 lbs.

Ground level (lift gate) and inside deliveries are available in most areas at an additional charge. Please call us for details and pricing.

It is very important that we have your contact phone number and contact name to arrange for your delivery. If deliveries are scheduled and there is no one there to receive the delivery, additional charges will apply and be charged to your credit card.

When signing for your delivery, please inspect the condition of the packaging. If, for any reason, you feel that there is damage you must sign the delivery copy ‘DAMAGED’ and contact us immediately. If the packaging is good condition, you will have 7 working days to inspect the contents for damage and contact us. If it goes beyond the 7 days we have no recourse against the carrier and you will own the damaged items.
