Depending upon the item(s) purchased, PeakOffice will ship your purchase in the most efficient and fastest way possible. Methods for shipping include UPS, FedEx, DHL or by a freight carrier.

What is Tailgate delivery?

Many of the heavier items that we sell are unable to be delivered by UPS or FedEx. We send them via a freight carrier using a large semi-truck. If you have a loading dock, they will back up to your dock and move the furniture to the back of the trailer. You will be responsible for moving the items into your building. If the delivery is to your home or office without a loading dock, you will be responsible for removing the items from the tailgate of the trailer. It is normally best to have a partner to help with this since some items may be in excess of 125 lbs.

When signing for your delivery, please inspect the condition of the packaging. If, for any reason, you feel that there is damage you must sign the delivery copy ‘DAMAGED’ and contact us immediately. If the packaging is good condition, you have 7 working days to inspect the contents for damage and contact us. If it goes beyond the 7 days we have no recourse against the carrier and you will own the damaged items.
